It Should Have Been Snow Day By: Cutter Weisberg It was a Monday morning at six a clock. The snow is falling. The winds are at about forty miles per hour. Susquehanna is the only school not canceled yet. The kids and parents wakeup to a good foot and a half of snow and ice. At seven o three a.m. Billy goes to the bus stop cold and wet. At school the busses drop the kids of. The kids get to class and start the day. Billy has math. At ten the principle makes an announcement that school will be let out at eleven. At eleven the kids are dismissed and try to push the door open. The door is iced up. Billy and the rest go to the auditorium and watch a movie. After the two hour movie at one o’clock the doors are even worse. The ice has frozen up the inside of the door. The teachers try to call for help. But of coarse the phone line is broken. Now the ice and snow have broken down the doors and entered the school. “This can’t be happening” yelled the principle. But it was. The kids start to go crazy. Billy tries to start a fire by the ice. Kids start running around the school and yell. The teachers start another movie and serve lunch. That didn’t work. Now the ceiling starts to crack. The walls start to bend. Windows are shattering. The ceiling on the top floor fall. Five kids are killed and twenty are hurt. The whole school starts to break. Susquehanna middle school is falling a part. All the walls collapse and make damage. Billy yells “ We should have had a snow d,d,da.”
