Screenplay 1 INT. BASEMENT. DAY Hip-Hop music plays. DANTRELL, a dark skinned African American 19 years old with a charming smile. His small muscular physique is covered tattoos which cover both arms and the right side of his neck. He’s a stylish, "Hip-Hop-Culure" dresser. Dantrell sits on the leather sofa rolling a cigar blunt listing to music in his basement recording studio. LINDA (O.S) (yelling) Dantrell, Dantrell! Dantrell, dressed in house slippers wife beater and shorts gets up off the sofa and walks over to the music source to turn down the volume. DANTRELL (loud) Yo!,. 1 2 INT. HOUSE. SAME LINDA, Dantrell’s Mother stands at the basement door dressed in a nice skirt with matching top revealing just a little bit of cleavage; sexy but professional. She is an attractive light skinned African American, in her mid forties. LINDA Have you forgotten at Seven O’clock p.m. I’ll be in New York City for a week? DANTRELL(O.S) (yelling) No! LINDA Boy get up here! Linda walks into the kitchen goes into her purse thats laying on the table. Dantrell walks into the kitchen a few seconds later. Linda puts her check book back into her purse and then slides her arm threw the lasso looking straps raising her shoulder up to keep it the heavy bag stationary. DANTRELL O.k I’ll be here, say ma,.. LINDA (interrupting) And remember on Wednesday the painters are,.. DANTRELL (cutting her off) The painter’s are coming I remember,.. Say Ma, can you put a few extra dollars on my card? Linda walks to the front door Dantrell follows. LINDA How much is a few extra Dollar’s? DANTRELL Like around Five Hundred extra. T hey stop at the front door. Two Gucci luggage bags are seen next to a small travel bag sitting on the floor. Linda kneels down and picks up the the small travel bag. Linda raises up and gathers herself together. She walks over to the door adjusting the purse on her shoulder she grabs the door knob and opens the door. HOUSE LIVING ROOM NIGHT 14 Chris dressed in North Carolina Boxer and T-shirt is lying on the sofa watching T.v talking on the phone to Latika. CHRIS I promised my mother I will clean out the garage this weekend; I need to find a job too, it’ll be summer soon. Chris repositions his self for comfort and starts flicking threw the channels. CHRIS What are you doing? why you not talking? INTER CUT. 15 INT. HOUSE BEDROOM NIGHT 15 Latika, gets out her bed and walks over to her dresser. He walks into the kitchen and puts the phone on the charger. He turns the light off then walks up stairs. 21 EXT. SCHOOL MORNING 21 Students are standing in front of the school and others are going inside the school. Chris and Latika walk up to the school entrance holding hands as they walk inside. 22 INT. SCHOOL MORNING 22 Chris and Latika walk down the hall and soon stop at Latika’s locker. Chris stands closely behind Latika as she turns the combination to open the locker. Dantrell leans back over on the edge of the bed. DANTRELL Thats lucky for you then right. The girl wraps up in all the covers and gets out the bed. Dantrell gets up and walks over to the girl. And how you get so lucky to wake up next to me. Dantrell lights the Cigar blunt and begins to smoke. The girl starts to kiss on his arms and chest. GIRL#2 Yeah it’s o.k but I like his old song better. Dubb gets off the sofa and walks over to the kitchen. DUBB You want something to drink? Girl#2 gets up and follows Dubb. HOUSE DRIVEWAY DAY 30 A delivery truck pulls into the drive way. DELIVERY MAN, dressed in his official uniform wearing a cap, jumps out the back of the truck carrying a package. He trots up the walk way and up the steps and rings the door bell. The delivery guy looks around as he waits for someone to come to the door. DANTRELL(O.S (loud) Who is it? (CONTINUED) CONTINUED: 25. HOUSE DRIVEWAY DAY 112 A Limousine pulls into the drive way the driver door swings open and The Chauffeur gets out. He opens the back door and Chris and Fatima gets out. Another cars pulls right behind the limousine the driver door swings open and Mr. Vincent gets out. The Chauffeur opens the trunk and takes out the luggage. He walks over to the window and slightly opens the curtain and peers out. He sees a all black car with tint parked on the corner like someone inside watching the house.
